Windshield Replacement
Window Replace

Replacement windshields for all vehicle types, both foreign and domestic, including buses and trucks. In addition we specialize on Classic Vehicles.

During the windshield replacement process, we perform a thorough check for rust, examine the general condition of the pinch weld to check for problems that may create leakage, or an unsafe condition. Prior to installing the new windshield, we treat any rust spots and thoroughly vacuum out all particles that may hinder the urethane from fully adhering the windshield to the body of the vehicle. We offer a lifetime warranty on factory defect and on labor.

A cracked or chipped windshield isn’t just a nuisance; it’s a safety hazard. If your vehicle’s windshield has been damaged, it’s time to call Do it Right Auto Glass.

When a car window shatters, it’s important to replace it as soon as possible. Aside from uncomfortable conditions caused by a broken window (wind, noise, temperatures), a damaged window can obstruct the driver’s ability to see the road and road hazards. Do it Right handles your car window repair or replacement in a timely fashion.

Do it Right carefully removes the broken car window without damaging the vehicle’s paint, bonding surface and interior. A replacement glass is then installed following procedures recommended by the AGSC (Auto Glass Safety Council).

There are no surprises. Our glass repair technicians are highly skilled. We believe in honest, upfront pricing. You won’t be left with hidden fees, just like you won’t be left with any cleanup.

Vent and Quartes Glass

Whether your windows need to be repaired or replaced depends on the amount of damage. Typically, car windows need to be replaced rather than repaired. The reason is that side and rear car windows are made using tempered glass. The tempering process, which involves heating the glass to over 600 degrees Celsius, makes the glass much stronger than un-tempered glass. When tempered glass is broken, it shatters into smaller pieces – no large, sharp shards. This makes tempered glass safer but also impossible to repair. Wondering whether your vehicle has tempered or laminated windows? Check the bottom corner of your car windows. You’ll find a small label that indicates if the glass is tempered or laminated.

Unlike the windshield, damaged back window in the majority of cases must be replaced. The back window replacement consists of the following activities:
Protect and cover the car’s exterior as well as            the interior of the car.
Clean up the residues of the old glass and                   glue from the car’s exterior
Apply a primer to the window edge and car’s             exterior and dry

Apply the adhesive to the edges of the back               window in order to ensure glass strength and             proper installation

   Install the new back window

   Check and clean

The back window replacement takes about 1 hour. It is recommended not to drive the vehicle for at least 1 hour after the service is completed so that the glue can dry well. It is also recommended not to clean the vehicle 2 days upon installation.
